Men and Flowers [part 1]: What Occasions? What to Buy?
Gentlemen,
Certain occasions require the presence of a fresh, beautifully arranged bouquet. Most men would agree that birthdays, anniversaries, Valentines/Sweetest Day and the occasional “I’m sorry” or “just because” are the most important occasions.
Birthday flowers should really be based on your significant other’s preference. It could be daisies or sunflowers, make it a goal to find out. When anniversaries and Valentines Day rolls around you can’t go wrong with roses. Try mixing it up with different colors or adding them to an existing arrangement, because roses mean love and that’s the message your trying to send. The occasional “I’m sorry” or “Just because” bouquet is something all together different. Sometimes less is more and sometimes more is better. The general rule of thumb on both is to not neglect the element of the sweet surprise, deliver them to their work or surprise them at home.
Most men capitalize on at least one of the occasions above, the smart ones capitalize on them all. DON’T FORGET about the holiday season though. This is your chance to make an impression upon the families you’re spending the holidays with. Having a beautiful bouquet bless the Thanksgiving or Christmas table is great way to show an appreciation that lasts past the holidays.
