While most only celebrate Mom in the month of May, Beneva had the privilege of teaming up with Phillippi Shores Elementary School for our “What My Father Means” to Me Coloring Contest. Entrants were chosen by their Teachers to represent their individual classrooms for the finals. Finalist received Chick-Fil-A coupons for a Kid’s Meal and Ice Cream.

Earlier today representatives from Beneva and Phillippi Shores had the difficult duty in choosing a winner from all the wonderful entries. Maddie Hazuda from Miss Schott’s fourth grade class was picked as the grand prize winner. Maddie will be taking home a kid’s Gift Basket and a ½ day fishing trip for 4 with Captain Jonnie Walker. In addition to these prizes Maddie has also won lunch for her classroom from Jersey Mike’s. We would like to thank all the students at Phillippi Shores Elementary for participating and making it such a difficult decision to pick a winner.
