For over 28 years of working in the wedding industry creating florals and wedding settings, I have seen just about everything you as a bride could dream up. One thing I always remind the newly engaged is that so much more goes into your decision making than just price when it comes to your big day, especially when it comes to your photographer and florist. You may ask why I selected these two.
A. Your Photographer: This person holds the keys to all your memories. Experience means so much. It’s not just taking pictures? It is the staged shots. That time they ask you to look at each other for a moment. Or when my son was asked to act like he was pinning on my boutonniere. I look back at these images and they are so special. That look, that special feeling for that moment. It is a priceless memory. So when meeting a potential photographer ask yourself these questions. Does this photographer have that ability to create the unforeseen? Even if it is staged it is a moment. Then there is the obvious, pictures. But is it the obvious to them? Do they really know how to shoot correctly? What about the development? Yes, this is all a part of what you are paying for that you can never see until the moment arises. Check credentials and more importantly, read reviews and speak with others who have used the photographer you are considering. There is no second chance.
B. Your Florist: I know I am bias with this one, but I can honestly tell you that a bride will never be handled better or with more care than by the professionals at Beneva Flowers. As a long time family business, we still take ownership in every wedding. The experience of our design staff is unmatched. One example of this is the effort we take in creating our proposals. Our staff will sit down with you to listen and ask questions about the colors, flowers and style you have in mind. Then they will create a sample summary for you to insure that your vision is realistic and exactly what you want.
If you decide at the last minute your aunt from Chicago can make it and is bringing her husband, we will not wait for the delivery driver to return, we will have your additional flowers sent immediately, no lost time and no one feeling left out. Having several delivery vehicles is another example of how we ensure stellar service at Beneva Flowers that many brides do not think about.
Hopefully after your consultation you will find that Beneva Flowers is a good match for you and your day. When that happens the next decision you need to make is…
- Secure your wedding date by making a deposit. All of which will be applied to your bill. This will allow us to research and create a detailed proposal of all we plan to create for you. Our design team will meet and brainstorm. We will review photos, find options, more ideas and answer every question.
- If you aren’t ready just yet to do that consider putting us on retainer. This will give us time with you to create a clearer vision of your wedding day .The entire amount of your retainer is applied to your wedding, 100 when you are ready to secure your date.
It is my personal promise to you, that because we know your wedding is one of the most important days of your life, we will always treat it as such. You will have 24 hour access to us and as owner of Beneva Flowers; I am personally interested in your satisfaction. After all, I am not just the owner but a floral designer as well and I want to be involved in your wedding plans.
Floral designs are a very personal decision. It takes a lot of thought and time. Anyone can take someone else’s idea and claim to do it better or for less, but it’s your wedding day. There is no second try. This is the day our brides will close their eyes and realize they got everything they imagined and in many cases more. That feeling and moment is the foundation of Beneva Floral Designs. It is the Beneva difference.
It is always a pleasure and honor to be considered to be a part of this most important day in your life. My name is Art Conforti. I have owned Beneva Flowers for 28 years and I am always available to assist you.
