As most of us are getting ready to take a long weekend or start our Summer vacation this Independence Day, we here at Beneva would like to help you Celebrate the holiday to it’s fullest. If your just planning a family barbecue be sure to add a sense of patriotism with a Beneva Signature Bouquet or purchase our exclusive Bud Time Barbecue Gift Set, featuring everything you’ll need for your party. However if you are unable to be with your family and friends, then send them a FREE eCard to show that they are still in your thoughts.

For those of you who’ll be in the Sarasota area, I’ve listed some of the celebration’s that’ll be going on this fourth of July.

The Suncoast Offshore Grand Prix Festival Parade of Boats takes place Thursday, July 3, 2008 at 7 p.m. The parade route is along Main Street in downtown Sarasota and will feature the race teams along with their powerboats that will be featured in the July 6th offshore race off Lido Beach.

Tropical 4th of July Celebration at Selby Gardens. Festivities will include music, costume contest for the most patriotic attire, and lawn games for the kids. There will be all american cook out food available for separate purchase. The evening will culminate at nightfall with a spectacular community fireworks display along the bay front. www.selby.org

Sarasota Fourth of July: Nighttime brings the Fireworks Spectacular over Sarasota Bay. Part of the Suncoast Offshore Festival, viewing is free from anywhere downtown including Bayfront Park and Island Park. The display is an awesome sight from a boat anchored on Sarasota Bay. Make sure you bring an umbrella just in case of rain. The fireworks show starts at dusk or around 9:00 p.m. and is privately funded and charity focused.

Siesta Key Fourth of July: Fireworks over Siesta Key are blasted off just north of Siesta Key’s volleyball courts, so viewing is good from anywhere south and along Crescent Beach (south of Siesta Public Beach), out on the Gulf, or from the Intercoastal waterway.

Venice Beach Fourth of July: The Venice area fireworks are fired from the south Venice Jetty and there are a number of good vantage points: anywhere along Venice Beach, Nokomis Beach, or from a boat on the Gulf of Mexico or anchored on the Intercoastal waterway, northeast of the Jetty on the water.

Anna Maria Island Fourth of July: Celebrations kick off at 10 a.m. with the Fourth of July Parade starting at the south end of Anna Maria Island near Coquina Beach and marching north to Bay Front Park.
