This month, we’re excited to shine the spotlight on one of the amazing individuals who keeps our operation running smoothly: Human Resources, Payroll, and general Do-It-All Person: Traci Haber.

What is your role at Beneva, and what is your favorite part of the job?

Wellll, I am admin, HR, payroll, pretty much wherever I am needed 😉 I enjoy working with people and I love my Beneva Family 😉

How did you get started in the floral industry?

I came to Beneva for an interview, loved the shop! Even though I do mostly admin work, I have learned sooooo much about flowers, plants and events! I worked in the funeral industry for many years, so I had some experience with florists, but this is way more rewarding!

If you could design a bouquet to match your personality, what would be in it?

Smiley 😉 Happy whimsical romantic flowers like our “Siesta Sunset.”

What’s one thing about working in a flower shop that people might be surprised to learn?

There is a LOT that goes into the operation of “designing flowers!” There is unpredictability, lots of moving parts and puzzle pieces that all have to work together to make it happen!

What’s your favorite local spot to grab lunch or coffee on a break?

Bagels and Brews right next door is PRETTY AWESOME 😉

If you could travel anywhere in the world, where would you go and why?

I have always wanted to go to Fiji, beautiful aqua colored water and who wouldn’t want to stay in a hut with glass floors that you can SEE RIGHT INTO THE OCEAN 😉

What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever received (floral or otherwise)?

No one can believe in you IF YOU DON’T BELIEVE IN YOURSELF FIRST 😉
