Everyone at Beneva would like to congratulate Nick Conforti, son of owner Arthur Conforti, on signing a national letter of intent to attend the University of South Florida in the fall.
Nick, who spends weekends and holidays helping around the shop, hit leadoff for the Cardinal Mooney Cougars this year and been the starting center fielder for the past two seasons. He has a .476 batting average; three home runs; 21 RBI; six doubles and 21 stolen bases Nick is the 10th Cardinal Mooney player to sign on with a college program in the past five seasons, including four division one signees. Nick has been guaranteed a roster spot at the University of South Florida.
